2026 Blockchain Specialized University Support Program
National Projects / 2026 / MSIT / Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) / 2026 - 2028 / Co-participating institution / PI: Jewan Bang / KRW 700 million / A national support program for cultivating convergence talent in blockchain, AI, cybersecurity, and decentralized finance through microdegree curriculum development and operation, internships, and company-collaborative PBL. Hansei University is responsible for the blockchain security specialization and operates a practice-oriented curriculum that combines blockchain technology with the Department of Convergence Security's strengths in digital forensics and security auditing.
TIPS: Tech Incubator Program for Startup
National Projects / 2026 / Ministry of SMEs and Startups / 2026 - 2028 / Co-research institution / PI: Jewan Bang / KRW 800 million / A government matching support program for promising technology startup teams selected by private incubators. Hansei University is responsible for digital ticket security, including log and evidence package quality review for chain of custody and non-repudiation, refinement of attack and dispute scenarios and test procedures, and consulting on threat models and anomaly definitions.
Community Digital Forensics Technical Support
Community Service / 상시 / Community public service program / Inquiry-based / Basic technical support / evidence preservation consulting / Provides technical support for community members and public-interest organizations, including digital evidence preservation, basic artifact review, incident fact organization, and technical consultation. Support may include guidance on preserving evidence from storage media, mobile devices, and cloud accounts; preliminary review of logs and file traces; explanation of technical issues for incident narratives; and advice on next steps. This support is limited to basic technical assistance for education, research, and public-interest purposes and does not replace official forensic examination or legal expert opinion.
